Add a little international flair to your home experience this summer by celebrating Germany’s most famous festival, Oktoberfest. Enjoy traditional German music, games and more as you cheers your friends and family with a pint of pilsner washed down by a big ol’ pretzel!

Rhode Island Blues Fest | July 17
An old favorite, the Rhode Island Blues Fest brings up close and personal with celebrated blues artists, including the James Montgomery Blues Band and Seth Rosenbloom. The one-day shindig kicks off at 1pm, with headliners, Sugar Ray and the Bluetones, hitting the stage at 7pm

Providence Fringe Festival | July 18-31
Put on by the Wilbury Theater Group, this two-week celebration of the thespian arts really does have something for everyone. Event passes are available, giving access to all the performances, both online and in-person.

Food Truck Sunset | July 24
Who doesn’t love food trucks? With no entry fee, just the cost of whatever you eat and drink, and trucks from all over the state, you will be hard pressed to find a better way to pass your time on July 24.

Newport Jazz Festival | July 30 – August 1
Somewhat of a legend on the international stage, the Newport Jazz Festival offers up three days of scatting, riffing, and boogie-woogie good times by the beach. Headliners include Wynton Marsalis, Andra Day, Khruangbin, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Mavis Staples, Ledisi (Sings Nina Simone), and Robert Clasper.

FirstWorks Live – Music at Roger Williams Park | August 1, 15, 29
Join FirstWorks for a journey from global Jazz to Americana, from hip-hop to sounds from the mountains and rhythms of the sea. Grab your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy free, live music throughout the summer.

Ocean State Bridal Show and Summer Beach Party | August 3
The 5th annual Ocean State Bridal Show will be held at the North Beach Clubhouse in Narragansett. Come plan your wedding and watch the sunset over the Bay! The event will be packed with vendors and food outlets, and since it’s free to attend, this is the place to be for all those tying the knot.

Block Island Jam Fest | August 22
As if you need an excuse to go to the island!
