Is the Market Still Good As a Seller?

The great news is inventory is still really low. And you know, in any market there are buyers and in any market there are sellers, it’s just a matter of the Golden Answer – and that is to price your home appropriately.

Make sure that you’re taking care of anything your agent may say is a huge red flag for a buyer but a lot of the buyers in the market the first time homebuyers and because they are spending a little bit more both on interest and still slightly on price, they’re not going to have that residual income to maybe make all those bigger repairs that someone buying in a much lower price market could do.

So, I think a lot of it is you know preparing your home to be listed on the market. Do a pre list home inspection ensure there are no big red flags that are going to scare buyers away or hurt financing. And then listen to your agent when they’re telling you that this may be the best way to price your property. They know how to make it work in your favor.

Here’s the truth: there are some buyers in the market, at a lot of them are still aggressively looking, and, I repeat, the great news is inventory is still really low. So as long as the seller is putting their home in the best light and the pricing it correctly and it’s prepared this keyword it’s prepared to be on the market, there is a reason your home should not sell.
